She is known for her lower belly tattoo saying "Massimo per sempre", It means "Massimo forever" or Massimo, is to be forever and you read it on romanian Catrinel Menghia's stomach. ‘Massimo forever' or 'The utmost forever' may be English equivalents of 'Massimo per sempre'. The masculine adjective/noun 'massimo' means 'utmost, maximum, greatest'. The preposition 'per' means 'for'. The adverb 'sempre' means 'always'. Massimo Brambatti and Catrinel Menghia first met at a Giorgio Armani party in Milan. There is a 19 year age difference between Catrinel and Massimo. Massimo Brambatti and Catrinel Menghia first married in a small service with only 20 people in attendance in 2005. The civil ceremony was meant to be followed by a large church wedding at the beginning of the following year. However, the wedding was pushed back indefinitely due to Catrinel`s modeling obligations and Massimo`s strong jealousy surrounding his wife.
By 2008, Catrinel had freed up her working schedule and any problems arising from Massimo`s jealousy had been worked through. The couple threw a lavish wedding with Catrinel fully embracing her italian husband and wedding in a gorgeous wedding dress made by Italian designer Giorgio Armani. After the wedding, the couple moved in to a lavish villa on the outskirts of Milan where they reside to this day. Notable fact: The couple married twice. Once in 2005, and then again, in 2008.
Catrinel Menghia was Born on October 1, 1985 in Iasi (Moldavian region of Romania), Catrinel Menghia wanted to become a famous athlete before starting modeling. Catrinel was discovered at the age of 16 years old on the street by a local agent (Lucian) who brought her later to Bucharest to meet with the MRA Agency and Liviu Ionescu. After six months, her parents agreed that Catrinel could move to Bucharest to pursue an international modeling career.
The brown-haired, hazel-eyed sex bomb got noticed in the Ford Model's Supermodel of the World Romania contest, in 2001,The same modeling contest entered by Elena Baguci where she won the second runner-up prize. Since then she took part in ad campaigns for labels like ADK, Bruno Manetti, Club Neuf, Cotton Club, Emporio Armani Underwear, Hunkemoller, ID Sarrieri, Infiore, JBS, Levi's, Lily, Lovable, Rosemarie, Slip & Bra, Triumph and Valisere. She has also been the face of the french brand of lingerie - Lise Charmel - since 2005.
Catrinel Menghia is only one of the many Romanian top models who have claimed their spot on the international runways and in magazines and ads for globally famous fashion labels. However, she is one of the few, after Victoria's Secret angels to have taken the world by storm only in her lingerie. And the beautiful Romanian has just gotten started.
Many may not have heard her name, but they must have seen at least one of her steamy pictorials, displaying sexy lingerie.
