Heidi Klum is notorious for her Halloween obsession and her accompanying costumes. Klum and her husband Seal throw a massive Halloween party every year, and even with plenty of A-list celebs in the mix, Klum out does them all in the costume department. The E! reality star is heading to Australia tonight to launch her handbag line, and then it's onto Atlanta shortly after.

She just wrapped filming on her E! reality show Koutney and Kim Take New York, but she's throwing herself into an even bigger project very soon: a part in Tyler Perry's ironically titled new movie The Marriage Counselor. For the costarring role, as Jurnee Smollett's gal-pal, she'll be spending at least a week in Atlanta.

When Kim hosted Midori's Green Halloween party in NYC Saturday night solo (her husband was back in Minnesota), she said her sisters have been rehearsing with her.

"You know, when I first of all heard about the role, I was honored that I would even get that offer," Kim told us at Lavo, where she dressed as Poison Ivy for her party.

"He [Tyler Perry] is such an brilliant man, so I was just so excited to be part of the film so it's just every day, reading the script and rehearsing, going over it with friends and sisters. I have met with an acting coach."

There's nothing like keeping busy to help take your mind off a breakup!

Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon Lacks Lewis & Labor Day

An American institution is about to change forever. The annual MDA Labor Day Telethon with Jerry Lewis has been downsized, dismantled, and its host, dismissed.

The traditional, twenty-hour, overnight marathon will be compressed tonight into 6 primetime hours, but more importantly, its host and heart for 45 years will be nowhere in sight. Jerry Lewis, the MDA National Chairman for decades has been unceremoniously dismissed from duties in what was to be his final year, with no reasonable explanation forthcoming.

 

With a telethon tradition spanning decades, almost everyone has memories of staying up all night to watch Jerry in the wee hours and phoning in their donations before the final timpani. In this way, and under his watch, over a billion dollars have been raised throughout the years, yet now, no final farewell and thank you for a half-century of service?

Thank you, Mr. Lewis.

Alyssa Milano welcome a baby boy

A publicist for the 38-year-old actress says Milano gave birth to a seven pound baby boy Wednesday morning: Milo Thomas Bugliari.

This is the first child for Milano and her husband, David Bugliari, who wed in August 2009.

 

Milano wrote on her Twitter page Wednesday that her heart "has tripled in size" and that she loves her new son "more than all the leaves on all the trees."

Milano starred in TV's "Who's the Boss?" and "Charmed" and can next be seen on screen in the ensemble comedy "New Year's Eve." Bugliari is an agent with Creative Artists Agency. 

Victoria's Secret Model Marisa Miller Joins 'R.I.P.D.'

Now that the main characters of “R.I.P.D.” have been cast, it’s up to Universal to fill in secondary and other roles. In the past few days two big names have been added, one of whom is a world-famous super model and the other a well-respected television and movie actress.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Victoria’s Secret super model Marisa Miller has been cast, but it’s unknown yet what role she will play.

Best known of course for her modeling work, Miller has nonetheless done some television cameos, like on “How I Met Your Mother” and “Entourage.” However, this will be her first time acting in a movie.

Just last week Variety also gave us news that Mary-Louise Parker has also joined the cast. This time there’s no secret as to whom she’ll be playing: Parker will be the head of a division who gets to tell people about their own deaths. Jodie Foster had also been considered for the role, but Foster eventually bowed out.

While Miller is more or less making her acting debut with this film, Parker has a strong history as an actress in television and movies. She’s been in the movies “Fried Green Tomatoes,” “The Spiderwick Chronicles” and, of course, last year's comic book movie "Red." You might also recognize her from her television roles on “The West Wing” and “Weeds.”
