Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in The Avengers Movie

Scarlett Johansson was born November 22, 1984 in New York City. Her father, Karsten Johansson, is a Danish-born architect, and her paternal grandfather, Ejner Johansson, was a screenwriter and director. Her mother, Melanie Sloan, a producer.

Johansson grew up in a household with "little money," and with a mother who was a "film buff." She and her brother, Hunter, attended P.S. 41 in Greenwich Village in elementary school. Johansson began her theatrical training by attending and graduating from Professional Children's School in Manhattan in 2002.

Johansson has expressed a desire to reprise her role for the upcoming film The Avengers. In the same interview, Johansson claimed that Marvel Studios is "really behind" including Black Widow in the movie. At San Diego Comic-Con International 2010, it was confirmed by director Joss Whedon that Johansson would be playing Black Widow in the film.

Black Widow  (Natalia "Natasha" Alianovna Romanova,also known as Natasha Romanoff) is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics Universe. She was created by editor and plotter Stan Lee, scripter Don Rico and artist Don Heck, and first appeared in Tales of Suspense #52 (April 1964).

Story of the film The Avengers is a project from Marvel Studios that will feature superheroes from the Marvel comic-superhero in a movie. Still remember The Incredible Hulk or Iron Man? They are one of the few superhero Marvel mainstay. If the first in every movie there is only one superhero, Marvel's flagship superhero now all appear in one title. The film is scheduled to introduce the first one by a character in The Avengers then these figures appeared simultaneously. So you can imagine how many there will be a sequel to this movie

The Avengers is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2012. Marvel announced that The Avengers would be released in July 2011. With the signing of Scarlett Johansson in March 2009, the film was pushed back for a 2012 release. Whedon was brought on board in April 2010 and rewrote the screenplay that was originally written by Zak Penn. Production began in April 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico before moving to Cleveland, Ohio in August.
